Here's a roundup of our needs:
A Small Group Leader
Our biggest need is someone who is available August 5th - 9th for at least part of each day to co-lead one of our small groups. Camp runs from 8:30am - 4:30pm each day of that week, but small groups mostly meet in the mornings, so a part-time arrangement could work! Part-time Volunteers for a Variety of Roles
We need part-time help, as well! Specifically we need:
Couriers to pick up lunches that are generously provided by local restaurants. We need volunteers for this on Monday (8/5), Tuesday (8/6), Wednesday (8/7), and Friday (8/9). We can share this role across multiple people, so feel free to express interest (email info@thespitfireclub.org) letting us know which day(s) work for you!
Carnival Volunteers to help us set up, staff, and take down our opening day carnival! Volunteers for this role are needed on Monday 8/5 from 9 - 11:30am. Please email info@thespitfireclub.org if this is something you are interested in doing!
Setup and Break Down Support to help us bring our things over to our camp location in Alexandria and set up our rooms for the first day of camp (needed on Sunday 8/4 after 12:30pm) and to help us pack up the space and bring materials back to our office (needed on 8/9 after 4:30 pm) Please email info@thespitfireclub.org if this is something you're interested in doing!
Water Day Volunteers to help us set up, staff, and take down our water play stations! Volunteers for this role are needed on Tuesday 8/6 from 12 - 3pm. Please email info@thespitfireclub.org if this is something you're interested in doing!
